From beginning to end, just in time for 2012. Enjoy this paint on glass exploration of motion, texture, metamorphosis, and sound. It will take you on a journey through 75000 years of evolution in about as much time as it takes to say Pop. Saw this at Red Rock Film festival in St George, Utah. Felt really sad for the filmmakers, since the festival was not very well organized. Even though, they had an excellent collection of short films from around the world. This one is very unique and impressive. Kind of reminded me of the weird but lovely shorts Bill Plympton does. The animation and sound are amazingly well done, very imaginative, while utilizing very simple means. It's just constantly morphing/changing graphics on white background, but it manages to capture and fuel your imagination. The "music" is a combination of sounds, that add up to something like a Bobby McFerrin track on drugs. Nothing more to say, really, since this is a really short short, except: look for it, it's worth your time.
